The Fitzpatrick one-name study

The Guild of One-Name Studies is the worldwide centre of excellence in one-name studies and promotes the interests of both the individuals and groups who are engaged in them.

Dr Mike Fitzpatrick of the Fitzpatrick Clan Society has been a member of the Guild of One-Name Studies since 2018, which connects the Society with an extensive network of genealogists; more than 2,600 members in thirty countries around the world.

 The Fitzpatrick One-Name Study hosts a database, built using 'The Next Generation of Genealogy Sitebuilding' (TNG) software, of genealogy records for Fitzpatricks, which is free to access. Fitzpatrick Clan Society members are encouraged to upload their data to the database, which contains records for more than 4,000 individuals.
